About the role
Working as part of our front line, you will be exposed to many different technologies, learning along the way within a highly supportive environment.
As part of a team, you will be assisting end users in resolving their IT issues on a day to day basis. You will support these users over the phone, on-site, via remote access and through our current management tools.
Duties of the role
- Responding to support calls by email or telephone
- Attend end user site when required
- Providing support for all windows operating systems
- Installation, configuration and updating of desktop applications
- Provide Remote support of ICT equipment and networking
- Assisting with server monitoring tasks
- Updating system documentation when required
- Escalation of issues to next level of support
To be successful in this position you will need to have:
- Excellent communication and customer skills
- Microsoft Desktop Operating System Maintenance experience
- Microsoft Server Management (Active Directory User and Group Maintenance) knowledge
- Keen troubleshooting skills
- Work experience in a similar customer service role
- A general knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall, including LAN & WAN networking principles

Standard Hours of Work
This is a full time, on-site position requiring a minimum 38 hour working week
Standard business hours are between 8am and 6pm.
Start and finish times will be scheduled by the Service Desk Team Lead
Probationary Period - A 6-month probationary period applies to this position.
