YOUR NEW ROLE

This role provides timely advice and support in relation to planning and heritage matters affecting Sydney Opera House. The role manages and coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of heritage related projects including conservation, interpretation and training projects. The role supports the implementation of the fourth edition of the Sydney Opera House conservation management plan throughout the organisation.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

Key Responsibilities/skills:

  1. Experience in delivering interpretation projects, heritage advice and assessments, and training.
  2. High-level of interpersonal and communication skills, working with a variety of internal stakeholders with competing priorities, to achieve heritage outcomes.
  3. Enthusiastic, well organised, and ready for a challenge.
  4. Enjoys communicating and celebrating heritage values through storytelling.
  5. Experience in heritage risk planning and an understanding of future challenges for heritage places. 
  6. Demonstrated knowledge of current heritage conservation principles and practices in Australia
