Position: High Care Support Worker (Arabic Speaking)
Location: Lurnea, NSWJob Description:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated High Care Support Workers to join our team. As a High Care Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to our 24/7 Care Client with complex needs.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality personal care and support for our client with complex needs, including assistance with activities of daily living such as personal care, domestic assistance, and others.
• Assist our client with mobility needs, including using mobility aids such as hoist, lifter, walker, manual wheelchair, etc.
• Monitor and record vital signs, changes in condition, and any other relevant information, reporting concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals or care.
• Liaise with family members, other workers, and professionals to ensure ongoing success of care.

Successful candidates have:

• Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in a high-care or complex care setting.
• Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Individual Support (or equivalent qualification).
• Registered Nurse with overseas background are encouraged to apply.
• Understanding of person-centred care principles and a commitment to promoting the rights and autonomy of individuals.
• Arabic communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with the client and family.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred).

Key Requirements:

• Current First Aid certificate (mandatory)
• Current Police Check (mandatory)
• NDIS Worker screening check (mandatory)
• Working with Children Check
• Australian Work Rights

  
All successful candidates will undergo training and buddy shifts to ensure success of services with our client.
