High Touch Engineer

PM Partners is looking to hire a mid-level IT Engineer with min of 7 years of experience, to provide technical support to the customers. You will deliver the solutions, technologies, and services to manage the customer’s networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Possess detailed knowledge of customer network, operating procedures as agreed upon with customer.
• Be proactive to monitor and review the progress of all customer cases and engage, as necessary.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on escalated or recurring issues as necessary
• Attend weekly/bi-weekly case review calls to drive resolution on reactive break/fix issue.

Requirements:

• BA/BS qualified (IT, Comp Science, Electrical Engineering preferred)
• Cisco certifications are preferred (CCIE etc)
• Technical knowledge in the following Cisco platforms /technologies – Routing & Switching (IOS-XR/IOS-XE/NX-OS), Cisco platforms (ASR9000, NCS540/5500, ASR1000, Nexus5K and Nexus 7K), Scripting for troubleshooting (EEM/TCL/Python/Ansible), BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, BNG, Segment routing & EVPN, Cisco Enterprise Technologies (Data Centre, Wireless, SD-Wan)
• Desire to become the expert of the customer’s technologies. Willingness to learn new technologies, process, and procedures.
• Possess strong presentation and communication skills.
• 1 day a week on site (requirement)
