About the role
The role is responsible for working collaboratively to provide advice, plan, and document processes relevant to Health Information core functions to support the business and successful implementation of projects.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- A high-level understanding and experience in the management, administration and technical aspects of hospital information systems, including extraction, interpretation and provision of patient information.
- Knowledge and application of appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2), and an ability to provide expert advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools.
- A high level of commitment to quality improvement activities with expertise to implement and maintain quality activities in relation to patient data.
- Ability to review health information and clinical information system operations to determine their effectiveness, and to make recommendations about policy initiatives and corporate strategies affected by the system operations.
- A high level of responsibility and initiative, effective negotiation, consultative and interpersonal skills, as well as high level written and oral communication skills, including experience in preparing and delivering educational material, and proven constructive participation in multidisciplinary project teams and committees.
