Hire Controller/Admin Assistant

Due to our continued growth and diversification, we are now seeking to employ an experienced permanent full time Hire Controller to start immediately. This role will be working within a small, performing team and is responsible for planning, implementing & coordinating the efficient movement of over 250 construction plant and equipment.

The Role
We are seeking a motivated Hire Controller who has experience in hire industry to join our NSW hire team.

- Hours Ideally 6.30am-3pm Monday - Friday
Key Responsibility:
Reporting to the Hire Team Supervisor, your key duties include but are not limited to:
- Managing various Microsoft Outlook inboxes relating to your role
- Book and schedule incoming hire requests
- Maintain rental availability schedule
- Track on and off hiring of plant
- Create new hire agreements
- Accurately create and send customer invoices in a timely manner including purchase order numbers where applicable.
- Collect payments for all COD invoices
- Update and communicate with service staff in regard to incoming and outgoing plant.
- Check all outgoing plant to ensure that it is in accordance to customer hire agreement before dispatch
- Other task as required.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
To be considered for the position you must have:
- Experience in a similar position within the hire industry.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook Specifically)
- High level of attention to detail
- Solid time management skills and ability to multi task in a busy fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills to liaise with customers, staff and management
