Due to our continued growth and diversification, we are now seeking to employ an experienced permanent full time Hire Controller to start immediately.  This role will be working within a small, performing team and is responsible for planning, implementing & coordinating the efficient movement of over 250 construction plant and equipment.

 The Role

We are seeking a motivated Hire Controller who has experience in hire industry to join our NSW hire team.

• Hours Ideally 6.30am-3pm Monday - Friday

Key Responsibility:

Reporting to the Hire Team Supervisor, your key duties include but are not limited to:

• Managing various Microsoft Outlook inboxes relating to your role
• Book and schedule incoming hire requests
• Maintain rental availability schedule
• Track on and off hiring of plant
• Create new hire agreements
• Accurately create and send customer invoices in a timely manner including purchase order numbers where applicable.
• Collect payments for all COD invoices
• Update and communicate with service staff in regard to incoming and outgoing plant.
• Check all outgoing plant to ensure that it is in accordance to customer hire agreement before dispatch
• Other task as required.

Skills / Experience / Qualifications:

To be considered for the position you must have:

• Experience in a similar position within the hire industry.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook Specifically)
• High level of attention to detail
• Solid time management skills and ability to multi task in a busy fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills to liaise with customers, staff and management
