You will work with one of the best teams in the industry, Industry trained, and everyone understand their job and what’s need on the floor at any one time. Job Operation –
In this role you will manage the service support, this means you will support the equipment technically and make sure each machine is ticked off and ready to work. You will process all incoming service calls, gather information about why the equipment is down or why it’s not working. You will work through the internal system to work the machine through each checkpoint whilst communicating this with the team. It’s down to you to make sure that the equipment is documented but also back to working order within a timely manner, there are many scenarios but it’s critical that the machine is back out in the field making money. Time management and high attention to detail is critical in this role. The office operation is fast, busy and is none stop all day. There is lots of information floating around and your job to ascertain what is happening at anyone time and work through the process and make sure the machine is ready and back to work ASAP.
Team Leader –
This is the part where staff will look up to you and require your attention, each process of the hire is run by a team of 6. The system requires each member of the team to green light the contract for each machine. It’s down to you to make sure every contract on the board and system is checked off and cleared but at the same time if it’s not find out why. You will also have multiple machines moving along the lines and it’s critical that you can work on the system and coordinate and manage the operation. Operational issues occur when something has been looked past or a simple step in the process has been missed. This requires you to work backwards and find the problem, rectify, work out the problems quickly and hopefully not at a cost to business and move forward whilst bringing the team in behind you so that the machine is ready for hire. The business needs a proven leader that can work under pressure but also is precise and if need be make a few jumps ahead if this means getting the machine up and running or back out on hire. The name of the game here is profitability for the business. Not downtime or loss of money.
You will work closely with management, there will be weekly meetings on what is happening in the fleet, you will also reports to run through and issues or up and coming days off with staff. When one of the staff members is off or they are sick you will need to fill in for them. It’s down to you to make sure the Hire operation runs smoothly. You are the Glue that keeps everyone together.
Candidate requirements –
- 5 + years within Civil Hire or Civil Construction with Admin focused role.
- Meticulous attention to detail, Strong administrative skills
- Highly articulate and excellent communication
- Strong leader with excellent people skills, you need to be friendly but also a team player.
- OHS Training
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Problems solver and someone can resolve issues quickly under pressure.
As you have read there are parts of this role you’re just not going to be able to cover for whatever reason. We really need someone that can find the solution without turning the office upside down or having a screaming match with someone in the office. At times the pressure can be high. It’s about getting the best out of people and making sure that the working environment is kept calm and stable. This is why need a strong Team leader. Experience is key for this role.
Salary Package –
You will be rewarded with lucrative earning potential and management will have looked after their staff in every office from team nights out and weekends away. With salary reviews and advanced training, it’s all up for discussion. Along with company uniforms and working with great people.
Working Hours – 6:30am to 3:00pm – Monday to Friday
