Reporting directly to the Supervisor – General Maintenance as part of the Reside Maintenance department,
you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:
• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies,systems, and procedures.
• Completing planned and breakdown maintenance on pumps, pipework, valves, and associated equipment including overhauls, installa5ons, and change-outs.
• Interpreting drawings, measuring equipment and documentation.
• Inspecting components and taking personal accountability for safe execution of work, quality, and efficiency.
• Effectively communicating with section stakeholders and peers to safely achieve maximum.
• productivity of a high standard.
• Identifying, developing, and implementing improvements relating to the plant equipment, work processes and practices.
• Diagnosing and recommending repair methods
• Monitoring, isolating, commissioning, and performing preventive maintenance and conducting operational Activates.
About you:
• Keen on working for a multinational company with extensive training and career progression in Australia
• Hold a mechanical fitter qualification (diesel fitters will also be considered if you have experience in industrial plants vs workshop only)
• Have demonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenance
• Have had exposure to one or more of: conveyors, pressure vessels, lifts cranes, gear boxes,mechanical seals, valves, flanges, bearings or ball mills.
• Be comfortable at heights from time to time
• Able to read drawings
• Effective problem solving skills
• Welding skills (advantageous but not essential)
• Have had experience working in environments where Health and Safety is paramount
