About the Role
Your primary duties will be in the Histopathology section of the laboratory.
Some of your duties are as follows:
Specimen setup
Block Embedding/Block Sectioning
Simple Specimens for direct transfer
May be introduced to Simple Non-Complex cases
Loading slides on to Immunohistochemistry staining machine
DNA extraction
Classifications for this position will range from BV1 - ON18 - depending on experience level ($72,716 - $83,865 per annum).
Your Contribution
The successful candidate
Relevant Diploma of Laboratory Technology, Diploma of Science or equivalent
Minimum of 6 years laboratory experience in a Histopathology Diagnostic Laboratory
Good knowledge of routine laboratory practice and techniques
Current National criminal history check

About the Department
Our laboratory is committed to providing the most comprehensive range of diagnostic services available, it is N.A.T.A. and R.C.P.A. accredited. The consultants are specialists in a wide range of histological and cytopathological investigations. They are supported by medical scientists with considerable experience in all areas of anatomical pathology.
