We currently have a vacancy for a highly motivated and experienced person to operate as our Holiday Park Caretaker/Relief Manager.
Reporting to the Community Manager, this role requires to undertake operational management of a Holiday Park on a relief basis. The Park is located in a beautiful coastal location in the heart of the Ulladulla region.
We are looking for an individual who is quality and service oriented with a hands-on approach.
The Holiday Park Caretaker/Relief Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the park and supporting grounds staff, whilst maintaining a vibrant and safe environment for our residents, guests, and employees.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Provide a hands-on approach to in maintaining the park and supporting grounds staff in achieving consistency and quality standards
- Effectively communicate with occupants and maintain credibility in all areas of the parks operations through strong business and work ethics
- Liaise with Community Managers regarding significant maintenance issues, repairs and customer escalations
- Monitor and maintain visitors, guests and employees by ensuring consistency with quality service
- Operate lease management system, take payments and issue receipts
- Take utility meter reads, process in the prescribed format and system
- Debt recover through consistent follow up of occupants behind in their fees
- Reporting as required
To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and attributes:
- Knowledge of the Holiday Parks (Long-term Casual Occupation) Act 2002 No 88
- Previous experience and understanding of the Holiday Parks industry
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently, as required
- Computer skills to assist in operation of our lease management system and basic Microsoft applications
- General knowledge of park maintenance, handman skills or ability to identify issues requiring contractors
- Flexibility regarding work hours
- Proactive problem solving and people management skills
- Understanding of WHS responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills
