We are seeking an enthusiastic, ‘hands on’ Management couple with a hard working attitude and good people skills. One of you, will have strengths in the office and the other will be strong in grounds & handy-person maintenance tasks. The successful applicant will enjoy a flexible work schedule with onsite accommodation right on the bank of the Hawkesbury River featuring stunning water views.
Common tasks performed Park Managers include but are not limited to:
Grounds & Maintenance
Park Operations, including ‘out of hours’ responsibilities
Completion of grounds keeping tasks to ensure a high standard is maintained throughout the park via the mowing of lawns, gardening & general maintenance, rubbish collection etc.
Maintenance of park tools and machinery
Safe operation of powered tools
Basic handy duties, repairs, maintenance of park structures and infrastructure
Reception and Administration
Reception duties; answer phone and emails in a timely and professional manner
Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner
Accurately take and record reservation information
Process payments via EFT or cash register
Balance cash register as needed and complete banking
Ordering and maintaining stock levels of both park amenities and kiosk
Promotion / Marketing via Facebook posts
Kiosk (Take Away Food Shop)
Basic cooking skills
A food safety supervisor certificate or willingness to obtain
High standards of cleanliness and food safety
Sound knowledge of budgeting and costing
Essential skills and attributes
Competent handyperson and office skills
Physically fit
Ability to work in all kinds of weather conditions
Willingness to learn and to take direction
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Computer literate
Create and maintain good working relationships
Caravan park experience is preferred, but not essential if you meet the other criteria
