Holistic Lead Educator

THE POSITION(S):

We are looking for an experienced Lead Educator. The successful applicant will be highly driven, passionate and share the same values that align with our 'nurturing in nature' philosophy.  It is important for us that the right applicant is an advocate for providing young children with holistic early education and connecting children with nature. At least three years experience needed.

The right candidate(s) will:

~ Place the child at the centre of their work, focusing on the development of the ‘whole child’ – physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

~ View children through deep respect and possess a genuine desire and commitment for playing a significant role in their holistic learning journey

~ Hold a great passion for nature play and outdoor education 

~ Have good working knowledge of the EYLF and NQF 

~ Plan and deliver a quality child focused program which embracing sustainable practices

~ Have a solution orientated attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously

~ Maintain an inclusive, supportive, and educational environment for all children, educators and families

~ Demonstrate good organisational skills and time management skills

Qualifications and Skills:

~ Hold a minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care           

~ Hold current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis

~ Interest/training in Forest School/Bush Kindy                                                          

~ Must have a current valid Blue Card

~ Interest in the Creative Arts (desirable)
