About the role:
This role is responsible for ensuring that Wesley Mission Queensland has the right capabilities in the right place at the right time. It does this through the design, implementation and maintenance of effective performance Development and succession planning frameworks, clearly articulated career pathways for WMQ employees, initiatives to build a high-performing culture, and suite of capability building interventions that support new and existing employees to be successful in their roles and to meet all legislative and organisational requirements.
About you:
Essential:
- Demonstrated success in implementing organisation-wide training needs analysis, building frameworks for the development of employee capability, and evaluating the outcomes of learning and development programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles, contemporary learning design methodologies and strategies for enhancing engagement with learning.
- Demonstrated experience in successful design and implementation of Organisational Development and talent management initiatives including performance and development planning, succession planning, employee orientation and career pathways.
- Demonstrated knowledge of organisational diagnosis and intervention, best practice talent management principles and strategies for building a high-performing cultures.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities and experience balancing multiple organisation-wide projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience in collaborating with subject-matter experts to design technical training content (clinical, governance, financial, etc), and designing and implementing communications and engagement strategies to facilitate buy-in across the organisation.
- Proof of Vaccination Status as required by Legislation, Health Directives or WMQ Policy throughout employment and prior to commencement.
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.
Desirable:
- Experience in not-for-profit or similar industry, including understanding of aged care and disability services industries.
- Formal qualifications in Organisational Development, organisational psychology, training, adult education or learning design.
