About the role
We are seeking inspiring and passionate Lead Educators and Educators to join our team at Springfield and embark on a wonderful new journey with us. As a Lead Educator you will lead and support the studio team, through modelling a collaborative learning approach, ensuring the environment and teaching approaches are designed to enhance children’s ideas.
We pride ourselves on our exceptional Leadership structure consisting of a full-time Relationships Manager, responsible for all enrolment management and family engagement, a full-time non-contact Educational Leader who drives high quality educational outcomes and hands-on coaching for our educating team for best practice and a full-time Centre Director to lead quality and support our Centre achieve success.
We are looking for a Lead Educator for our Luna studio (2/3 years). Also an Lead Educator for our Echo studio (3/4 years). Both are co lead positions.
About the Centre
Harmony Springfield is a 124-place boutique Centre located close to bus stops, with ample parking in the heart of Springfield.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- The ability to provide strong foundations for children's learning and development
- Knowledge of early childhood development
- Planning and implementing well-structured, age-appropriate learning goals and teaching programs that engage children and promote learning
- The ability to identify, plan and engage in professional learning to improve practice
- Professional behaviour and respectful interactions with children, families, and colleagues
- Respectful, collaborative partnerships with families regarding their children's learning and wellbeing.
- Effective teaching strategies to support children's literacy and numeracy achievement.
- Current Blue Card
- Current First Aid Certificate including asthma and anaphylaxis training
- Current recognised resuscitation certificate
- Current child protection training or willingness to obtain.
- Certificate III, Diploma in Children’s services (or ACECQA Approved qualification), or working towards
