Gold Care Home Services are seeking a professional, passionate and caring Home Care and NDIS Coordinator to join our team in Sutherland.
Purpose of the role:
The Home Care and NDIS Coordinator will assist in the supervision and coordination of the Human Resources, NDIS, and rostering departments to ensure smooth operations and ultimately ensure that our care recipients and partnered organisations receive high quality care.

About the role:
You will be an integral member of the Gold Care Home Services team, ensuring the daily operations of the organisation flow smoothly by reviewing and monitoring staff compliance across the organisation. Your activities will include, but not be limited to;
- Coordinate and assist administration team (HR, rostering, and NDIS) with daily operations and be the first point of contact for any queries they may have
- Conduct the HR duties for staff in coordination with the management team (disciplinary processes, performance appraisals, recruitment management)
- Review, investigate and address incidents reports, SIRS, Injury reports and staff non- compliance issues.
- Prepare and update reports and reporting findings back to the management team
- Source and onboard NDIS Participants
- Maintain participant documentation and services, and address any issues or concerns they may have.
- Assist Quality assurance and Business Manager with the creation of Policies and procedures, Templates, forms, surveys, and training material.
- Promote and reinforce a positive, caring work culture that promotes mutual respect and zero tolerance of any behaviour or circumstance that does not uphold participant rights.
What do you need to succeed?
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Diploma in community sector management) or and relevant extensive experience in Aged Care/Disability Industry.
- Proven leadership experience within a Home Care or NDIS setting
- Knowledge of the principles, strategies, and tools for effective management.
- Experience working with client groups who may be more vulnerable to heightened risk and strategies to remove or reduce risk.
- Confident and experienced in reviewing and addressing incidents, SIRS and NDIS reportable incidents.
- A positive attitude and forward-thinking approach to find solutions for various situations.
- Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills, strong customer service focus and ability to build positive relationships with others.
- Excellent time management skills and can manage conflicting priorities.
- Dependable, punctual and able to work in an adaptable environment.
