Home Instead Melbourne Eastern Suburbs is seeking a dynamic and experienced Home Care Program Manager to join our growing team in a full-time role based at our Blackburn Office.

We have been established for 10+ years in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and are passionate about supporting older people, providing the best person-centred care available. 

Due to steady growth, we are now seeking a full time Home Care Program Manager to oversee, lead and build on all aspects of our Home Care Package (HCP) Program including transition to the Support at Home Program. 

The Role:

  • Manage an established team and continue to grow the HCP Program by developing and implementing growth strategies
  • Lead the Home Care team to actively market and promote Home Instead services to the community
  • Oversight of operational and financial performance of the HCP Program including annual budget creation, management and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance standards and statutory requirements are met
  • Drive innovation always focusing on continuous improvement
  • Provide leadership whilst empowering your team to provide quality care.

What we’re looking for: 

  • Demonstrated experience with successful operations in community aged care
  • A strong understanding and knowledge about the Australian Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Tertiary qualifications in a health related field and ability to demonstrate a solid knowledge of Community Aged Care
  • Strong business acumen – Ability to monitor and report on financial and operational objectives
  • Ability to coach, mentor and manage a team
  • Strategic thinking
  • Have a big heart and a desire to improve the lives of seniors and their families 
  • Be an effective communicator with excellent customer service skills and demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Have a valid driver’s licence and the right to work in Australia.
