About Us
Home Nursing Group (HNG) are seeking experienced Nursing Assistants and General Support Workers in Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas to provide in-Home Care to our clients on a permanent part-time or casual basis. For casual positions, there may be option to transition to permanent part time after 3 months.
About The Role
As a Nursing Assistant, you will get a chance to create a positive impact to elderly clients living at home, through the promotion of independence and choice. The role reports through to the Care and Support Coordinator and will suit someone with a caring nature and genuine desire to support our clients to live independently in the community. You will deliver high-quality assistance to clients using a person-centred approach. This role involves nursing assistance, personal care, social support, domestic duties and other tasks as directed.
A successful candidate will maintain compliance with standards, and adhere to organisational policies and procedures whilst promoting the core values of Home Nursing Group and Healthcare Australia.

To be considered

• Experience supporting the elderly
• Cert III in a relevant field highly recommended
• Sector experience desirable but not essential
• Valid AU Drivers Licence
• Reliable vehicle to transport between customer locations (KM's are paid)
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Vaccinated against COVID and current Flu
• Right to Work in Australia - evidence will be required
