About the Role
We are looking for qualified Home Care Workers to support clients living in the Melton, Sunbury and Bacchus Marsh area and surrounding suburbs. Recently qualified carers welcome to apply. All successful candidates will take part in a comprehensive induction and orientation program. You will assist our clients in all aspects of daily care and living, including:
- Provide personal care and domestic assistance duties, as well as social support
- Provide effective support to clients, recognize changes in clients’ conditions and escalate observations and concerns in accordance with UA processes
- Promote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with clients, their relatives and friends
About you
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our clients to support them to live life to their potential.
- Minimum Cert 3 or 4 in individual support/ageing or equivalent
- Comprehensive knowledge in community care with a commitment to high standards of care for clients and their families
- Understanding of client directed care
Essentials for working in Aged Care
- A current Working With Children’s card
- Current and required flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Have Australian working rights
- Valid Victorian Drivers' licence with roadworthy vehicle
- Are able to pass a national police clearance and/or NDIS clearance
