About the role:
We are looking for experienced and motivated Food Service Assistant (Barista) to join our small onsite café in our Hawthorn Aged Care facility. The shifts will be Mon - Fri, 10am - 2pm. You will need to have barista coffee experience.
- Contribute to resident’s quality of life and nutrition and hydration well-being through the provision of quality Food Services
- Maintain routine and variable cleaning schedules for food preparation and food service areas in accordance with the requirements of the Food Safety Program
- You will be organised and keen to serve, you appreciate and respond to resident needs by listening and communicating well, escalating any concerns as needed, whilst ensuring resident privacy and dignity is always maintained

- Completion of a Basic Food Handlers Certificate (preferred)
- Barista experience essential

- A current Working With Children's check
- Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
