Deliver high-quality hospitality services ensuring that household serveries are well set up and presented and that the resident dining experience is home-like, supported and engaging, and each household is provided with high-quality domestic services to suit resident preferences

Your Contribution
We want residents to feel valued and provide a home like experience that considers how they like to spend their day. You can support this individualised care model by:

• Ensuring food is provided to residents at their chosen mealtime
• Maintaining effective household servery processes, cleanliness, safety, and stock levels that deliver hospitality goals and maintain the desired household culture
• Ensuring adequate stock levels of all self-service servery items, so residence can independently utilise the kitchen as desired
• Ensuring mealtimes reflect a "home-like" experience through the staging of tables, set up of music and lighting, and the fragrant smells of freshly cooked food
• Engaging with residents during mealtime and if they choose too, supporting their involvement of setting up the dining experience, preparing meals and clean up
• Ensuring a thorough understanding of residents' special diet needs and commitment to learning and implementing innovative, tasty, and varied ways to meet customer diet needs and preferences from the Chef team
• Ensuring you listen to feedback and escalate complaints to the relevant people
• Proactively modelling the Fresh Hope Communities' Values of kindness, connection, optimism and integrity in all interactions with the team, stakeholders, and external parties

The Essentials

• Relevant certifications in hospitality or care services
• Relevant experience in providing hospitality or care services within the residential aged care environment or willingness to learn on the job
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Strong resident-centred manner
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to utilise resident information systems
• Possess a current National Criminal History Check Certificate suitable for aged care and evidence of three COVID vaccinations
• Able to undertake a role with moderate physical requirements
