WA Industrial Cylinder Engineers is a privately owned leader in the hydraulic cylinder overhaul/manufacturing industry. Specializing in heavy mining mobile equipment hydraulic cylinders. We have an exciting opportunity for experienced, detail-oriented and trade-qualified 1st Class machinist to run our Horizontal Borers (manual) in our clean, well-equipped safety focused workshop.

- Day shift: MON - FRI 7:00am - 3:30pm + O/time OR
- Afternoon Shift: Mon - Fri 3pm - 11.30pm + O/Time
About You:
You are looking for a new challenge, and want long-term job security and;
- Have proven experience as a Horizontal Borer (manual)
- Australian recognized 1st Class Machinist trade certificate
- Have experience within our industry
- Proven mechanical aptitude and capability to deliver quality work.
- Experience in working within and supporting accredited Quality Systems (such as ISO 9001).
- Australian Driver's license C Class - as a minimum
- Good mechanical ability/aptitude
- High regard for safety in the workplace
- Are able to work in a team environment
- Have pride and attention to detail in their work
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Are flexible and resilient
Tasks:
- Complete delegated tasks under the supervision of the designated senior staff member.
- Interpret engineering drawings to determine the method and sequence of operations and machine settings.
- Machine components to required tolerances & finishes using Horizontal Borers
- Help ensure that the needs of the production schedule are met.
- Continuously produce the highest quality work.
