Horticulture Workers

Direct Agri have 150 positions available for dedicated and hardworking Harvest Workers to undertake work on various farms in the Sunraysia Region of Victoria. Positions commence February 2024 for a period of approximately 9 months.
Duties may include:
• Grapes– picking, packing and pruning
• Citrus – picking, packing and pruning
• Avocados – picking, packing and pruning
• Melons – picking and packing
• Capsicums – picking and packing
• Asparagus – picking and packing
• Garlic– picking and packing
• General farm duties where required, which may include tractor driving and forklift operation
Successful applicants will work an average of 30 hours per week and will be paid as a Level 1 casual employee under the Horticulture Award 2020. Opportunities to upskill in the future will be made available to some applicants.
Applications must address the below selection criteria and all claims against the selection criteria must be substantiated. Any application that fails to do so will not be considered.
Selection Criteria:
* Must be strong and physically fit, able to lift up to 20kg
* Must not be colour blind
* Must possess the ability to follow instructions
Experience in this field of work is beneficial, however, not essential. The ability to start early and work any day of the week is required. Candidates must be physically fit, self-motivated and willing to undertake physically demanding, repetitive work in a range of weather conditions.
