Is looking for Candidates to work along side one of major clients located 30 minutes East of Gympie and 15 minutes West of Tin Can Bay. It is on a dirt road (Swampy
One Road). It is signposted as Swampy One Road.
ABOUT THE ROLE:Working ConditionsYou are expected to work 5 days per week. Working hours are 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday. You are expected to work in the direct sun, in the rain (will be given raincoats) and in sheds and shade houses.
You are expected to work on your feet for the entire shift, expect during nominated breaks. Nominated breaks include; Morning tea at 9am 20 minutes5 minute break 11amLunch 12pm 30 minutes (unpaid)5 minute break 2pmThere is no smoking or vaping onsite except at the designated smoking area and only during the breaks outlined above. We undertake random drug and alcohol testing.
Job TasksJobs include, sorting seedlings, transplanting seedlings (dibbling), moving trays, putting pots in trays, weeding, sowing seed, traying out pine cones, topping seedlings, watering seedlings, driving machinery etc. All jobs are repetitive, require a significant amount of bending and lifting and manual handling with very little job rotation.
