McKeering Down Lawyers is a leading and reputable law firm located in the Brisbane CBD. Our practice areas include Personal Injuries, Wills & Estate and providing Notary Public services.
About the Role
We are seeking a full time Legal Secretary to assist our managing partner, Len McKeering.
Your day will be varied and interesting. Your duties will include:-
- Diary management;
- Arranging appointments, meetings & conferences;
- Liaising with clients, barristers and specialists;
- Typing of digital dictation;
- Preparing legal documents and briefs to Counsel;
- Filing and deliveries;
- Maintaining records;
- Billing and accounts;
- General administrative duties including call screening and client greeting.
About you
To be successful for this role you will need:-
- Have a typing speed of at least 60 wpm;
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office;
- Be pleasant, punctual and energetic with a keen eye for detail;
- Be organised and a team player who is keen to learn new skills.
