The opportunity:
2 Permanent full-time Hospital Technician positions (38 hours per week) at our Slade Pharmacy onsite at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Fitzroy or East Melbourne. Shifts are regular day shifts from Monday to Friday, leaving your weekends free to focus on the other important things in your life. Key responsibilities:
- Dispense medication for hospital patients
- Assist in the financial management of our oncology service offering, including owing script management & brand compliance
- Assist with administration tasks associated with clinical trials
- Serve customers and discharge patients and assist them with any queries and OTC medication needs
- Order, scan and deliver Imprest medication around the various wards across the hospital
- Order and maintain medications required for the dispensary
- Prepare for and conduct the pharmacy stocktakes
- Assist with receipting invoices

Eligibility Requirements:
- Previous experience dispensing medication in an Australian pharmacy valued but not essential.
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
