About the Role
Pharmacy Technician, Grade 3
Full time ongoing position (40 hours/week with RDO every 4 weeks) and tax effective salary packaging, East Melbourne location, short walk to the CBD
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced hospital Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team and support quality and efficient pharmacy services.
This position has a focus on the administration and maintenance of inventory systems to ensure safe, accurate and efficient pharmacy procurement and supply processes and compliance with legislative and other purchasing agreement requirements.
This role is also responsible for assisting with the distribution and dispensing of medicines, supporting the provision of clinical pharmacy services and manufacturing (sterile and non-sterile).
To be successful for this role, you
- Hold a Certificate IV in Hospital-Health Services Pharmacy Support or equivalent
- Have minimum 3 years' full-time experience working in an Australian hospital pharmacy setting
- Demonstrate good communication and organisation skills
- Have well developed computer literacy and Microsoft Office ability
- Be a strong team player and contribute to the positive culture of our friendly department
- Previous experience in aseptic manufacturing is desirable, but not essential
All appointments are subject to a satisfactory Police Record Check, a working with children check (if applicable) and evidence of vaccination status.
