IRT is investing in our leadership capability creating an exciting opportunity for a Hospitality Team Leader (Aged Care Employee- level 5) to lead the planning, ordering, preparation and compliance of our site-based food service, laundry and cleaning operations.

We are looking to appoint interested and enthusiastic individuals to work in the Greenwell Gardens, Nowra :

This is a permanent, part-time opportunity, 30 hours per week available.

Your work will include:

• Leading, mentoring and supervising hospitality employees, including reviewing performance
• Responsibility for the planning, ordering and overseeing the preparation of all meals (complying with resident dietary requirements) and light refreshments to ensure residents enjoy a quality food experience
• Ensuring food safety documentation is complete and that all work practices meet HACCP requirements. Ensure all corrective actions are completed with specified timeframes
• Ensuring deliveries are received and processed in accordance with IRT food safety plan
• Monitoring IRT cleaning contractor team members to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Ensure the management and delivery of hospitality services meets Aged Care Quality Standards and is in line with IRT's policies and procedures
• Participating in the recruitment, selection and orientation of team members in line with IRT's policies and procedures

• Certificate IV in Hospitality
• Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (or willingness to obtain)
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Sound verbal, written, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated problem solving, negotiating and organisational skills
• Ability to plan and prioritise own work and/or work of others to meet deadlines
• Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality and Food Safety Standards
