Both classroom and online training and assessing
Based in Bathurst or Orange with the ability to travel throughout the Central West (Mudgee, Cowra, Parkes, Forbes, Orange & Bathurst)
A company vehicle and travel time will be made available when required to travel.
We're seeking a Vocational Trainer and Assessor to deliver both face-to-face and online training and assessing for Certificate III in Hospitality in the Central West NSW region. As a Trainer / Assessor, you will be responsible for engaging students, delivering training programs in compliance with training package requirements, and fostering an environment conducive to learning and skill development.
About the role…
This role will require you to:
- Conduct both face-to-face and online training, assessment, and support for students
- Deliver training programs in alignment with training package requirements
- Engage and motivate students in the classroom or online setting
- Sharing your knowledge and skills in your area of expertise
- Adopt innovative learning strategies to enable students to achieve the relevant qualification
To be successful in this exciting and rewarding role you will have the following:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502
- Hold a SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality qualification or higher
- Current industry experience (obtained in Australia)
- Evidence of maintaining professional development in the VET sector
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Current Drivers' License and ability to travel within your region
