Our client is a not for profit organisation that has been a trusted employment service provider for over 40 years. They operate over 270 offices throughout the ACT, NSW, QLD and VIC providing a diverse array of services.
The Role
As a Trainer & Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering CHC33021 - Cert IIIIndividual Support to complete traineeships for a range of Aged Care and Disability providers.
This position requires travel throughout the Central West Region, including Orange, Dubbo, West Wyalong and Coonabarabran. Delivery is a blend of face-to-face and via Zoom.
Group commencing in Coonabarabran 2 x 4-hour sessions fortnightly and observations every 12 weeks – 2 x full days on-site at Coonabarabran.
Another group 1 full day each fortnight in Orange.
The caseload would be 2 – 3 days per week (give or take).
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, developing and delivering the course of study to students.
- Maintaining records of students’ progress and attendance.
- Analysing current training methods and identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct face-to-face observations for student placements and industry visits
- Provide professional standard of care to our students

- Must hold Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Minimum Cert III in Individual Support
- Experience in the delivery and assessment of vocational education and training
- Industry currency and experience
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Working with Children Check
- Police Check
