MARINE HOSTESS/DECKHAND
Essential criteria:
- Elements of Shipboard Safety (minimum)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- RSA
- Must be committed to the position as live-in. We will arrange time off during season as required but you would need to be prepared to do extended stints during the season.
- Preference is given to having previous experience on similar vessels.
- Previous hospitality experience a must
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Loading provisions
- Cleaning vessel daily – servicing cabins, bathrooms, living areas and service dishes
- Assisting chef with preparation, serving and clean up of meals
- Setting table and meal service
- Meeting the needs of the guests
- Assist vessel master with navigating, berthing, anchoring and securing tender vessels
- Ordering of all stores for the vessel. Ensuring this is done on time each week to enable freight to meet barge in time for each charter.
- Keeping interior and exterior of vessel to a high standard of cleanliness
Personal Characteristics:
- All crew are team players and have a can do attitude.
- Ability to live in close quarters with other crew members
- All crew must be willing to adapt to change and help out in all areas of the operation.
- Organised and clean with an attention to detail
- Previous hospitality experience. Preference to previous CHARTER VESSEL experience
- Be physically fit
- Have an attention to detail with high standard of cleanliness required
- Be confident with interacting with charter guests

ROSTER: This is a contract position with a 6 week casual trial period. Ongoing work and great pay rate for right candidate
