AddressPosition:Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Department
Location: Regional NSW (8 hours west of Sydney or 4 hours from Melbourne)
Contract Duration: 6-12 weeks, with potential for extension
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $68.38 - $73.22 per hour + superannuation + penalties + 10% casual loading + 8% term loading

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner with significant emergency department experience for a short-term contract position in a regional hospital located 8 hours west of Sydney or a 4-hour drive from Melbourne. This position is crucial in providing top-quality care in the ED, so prior experience in emergency settings is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-level nursing care in the emergency department
- Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patient care effectively
- Collaborating with medical and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Referring patients to specialists
Qualifications:
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner. Completion of a Master's degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) from an NMBA-accredited program.
- Extensive experience in an emergency department setting
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
