Hotel Maintenance Manager

The Hotel Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing all Oakwood Premier Melbourne operations working with all areas of the hotel including maintenance front office, reservations, housekeeping, finance, human resources, food & beverage and sales & marketing departments.Reporting to the General Manager, your key tasks and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;-Recruiting, training, and supervising employees, in conjunction with front office department, housekeeping department, security department and Food & Beverage department
-Overseeing and directing all areas of the hotel including maintenance, front office, reservations, housekeeping, finance, human resources, food & beverage and sales & marketing departments.
-Ensure effective preventative strategies and plans are in place, in order to enhance guests' experiences by ensuring all needs and complaints are handled effectively and efficiently
-Conduct investigations and perform service recovery when required to maximise overall hotel operational efficiencies and performance
-Managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring all areas of the hotel are well-maintained and operational
-Oversee occupational health and safety procedures of the hotel and ensure they are compliant and meet industry regulations
-Supervise security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance
-Ensuring the hotel complies with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding, building, health, safety, and compliance
-Developing long-term strategies for the hotel's growth, improving guest satisfaction, and ensure our services and products staying competitive in the market
-Maintain landscaping and property upkeep, including preventative maintenance program, energy efficiencies, HVAC, lift servicing and other utilitiesIn return for your commitment, you would be rewarded with:

About YouTo excel in the role, you should have;
At least Diploma degree in Hospitality or related field
At least 2 years close related experience
Strong understanding of Hospitality principles and legislation
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
