This role is a passport for an experienced hotelier to take on a career-defining role, where every decision you make impacts its legacy of extraordinary guest experiences.
THE ROLE:
It demands more than operational oversight; it calls for robust commercial acumen. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be at the helm of orchestrating daily operations and setting strategic directions across the Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, and more. You will set a platform where you can create unforgettable 'WOW' moments for guests. Your role will involve strategic oversight, requiring sharp business acumen to maintain our leadership in the luxury market and continuously innovate guest experiences.
SALARY:
$180,000 + bonus, health insurance, parking
KEY REQUIREMENTS OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Leadership experience in luxury properties of at least 200 rooms, including oversight of large-scale operations
- Proven track record in developing and implementing commercial strategies that enhance profitability and position in the market.
- A background in the New Zealand or Australian hotel market. If you have experience in Asia, that's even better.
- Experience in a 2IC or higher role in a luxury hotel environment
- Strong commercial business acumen with a track record of contributing to business growth and operational excellence
