About the opportunity
Our Hotel Services employees at Acacia Living Located in Meadow Springs are an integral part of our team, ensuring our residents enjoy delicious meals and a clean-living space. In this role as a Hotel Services Assistant, you will assist with preparing and serving meals to our wonderful residents or cleaning residents' accommodations and facilities to a high standard.
Duties include:
- General cleaning
- Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors.
- Dusting, polishing and general tidying.
- Cleaning bathroom facilities
- Refreshing bed linen and making beds
- Involved in food preparation for our residents.
- Serving meals and ensuring a friendly, interactive experience for our residents

About You
- Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate
- Aged Care or Hotel experience in Housekeeping/Cleaning & Laundry
- Excellent attention to detail
- Sound food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment)
- Knowledge of kitchen and cleaning processes, standards, systems and equipment
- Current Flu Vaccination
- COVID + Booster vaccination
