Your new role:
Our Hotel Services Staff are responsible for carrying out and maintaining The Forrest Centre's high standards in terms of cleanliness, food, and hygiene. Day to day you could be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Cleaning duties, such as removing garbage and replacing garbage bin liners, sanitising equipment, and maintaining vinyl and carpet areas.
- Kitchen duties, such as cooking and/or preparation of light refreshments, general kitchen cleaning, transporting food trolleys to and from wards.
- Laundry duties, such as sorting linen and personal clothing, operating industrial washing machines and dryers, collecting soiled personal items and linen.
About you:

- Has a genuine interest in working with the elderly.
- Can work a variety of shifts and is flexible in relation to working hours.
- Has the ability to communicate effectively with the residents, family members and staff.
- Is willing to learn practices and procedures in a positive, safe working environment.
- Has previous experience working in aged care of the health sector (desirable).

The Forrest Centre is founded on spiritual support and personal connection, we are a Riverina-based aged care provider. With almost 40 years of experience, we are a registered charity dedicated to ensuring elderly people in the region receive the care they deserve. Our services include at-home care for around 300 clients through Forrest Community Services, as well as residential aged care at Loreto Home of Compassion (76 residents), Mary Potter Nursing Home (70 residents), and The Forrest Centre Hospice (10 residents). Our team of approximately 250 staff share a commitment to respectful, compassionate, and people-centered care.
