These important positions are responsible for a variety of tasks each shift, including Kitchen, Food Services, Cleaning and Laundry.General duties include:

• Maintaining a clean, sanitary and homely environment
• Providing a quality meal experience for our clients
• Ordering and maintaining cleaning and kitchen stock
• Serving meals to residents
• Upholding foodsafe and other health codes and regulations by providing a high-quality service.

Our north Residential Aged Care facilities include:Madeley:A 110-bed facility based in Madeley. Caters for clients with a range of different needs, including memory support needs. Available shifts for Kitchen/Food Services from 3.30pm to 7.30pm, Cleaning from 8.00am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.Kingsley:A 41-bed facility. Our Kingsley site is a highly regarded Transitional Aged Care (TCP) facility, which provides short term accommodation for those leaving hospital. Available Catering, Cleaning and Laundry shifts from 6.00am to 2.00pm, 8.00am to 1.30pm and 8.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday.Birralee:A 60-bed facility based in Innaloo. Birralee is a suburban home for a group of 30 permanent residents and 30 transition care clients. Available Laundry shifts from 8.00am to 12.00pm and Kitchen/Food Services from 3.00pm to 7.00pm Monday to Friday.What we look for?You should have a caring and positive attitude and passion for older Australians, additionally you must possess:

• Experience in working with clients living with dementia.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a related setting
• Evidence of up-to-date influenza vaccination
• A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
• A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check

We see what others don’t.Selection Criteria Essential: Do you have a National Police Certificate that is less than 12 months old OR are you willing to obtain one?
Essential: Do you have an up to date vaccination against influenza or are you willing to obtain?
Essential: Do you have a current NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance or are you willing to obtain this as part of the application process?
Essential: Do you have experience working in a fast paced kitchen preparing and serving food?
Desirable: Do you have previous cleaning experience, knowledge of work, health and safety and infection control?
Desirable: Do you have a Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability/Individualised Support (or progress towards), or significant experience in a related setting and a willingness to undertake training?
