About the businessSalamanca Inn is an award winning 4.5 star All-Suite hotel located in Battery Point. We are a Tasmanian family owned and operated business and have been in operation for over 30 years.
About the role
This is a casual position. Shifts will vary over a 7 day roster and include some public holidays. Morning and evening availibility will be required.
Individuals with less than 1 years' experience in a similar role need not apply.

As the first point of contact for our guests, we require a candidate with an outgoing and bubbly personality, a great communicator in both written and verbal, reliable, trustworthy, friendly and able to fit in to our small team of dedicated hospitality professionals. A positive can-do attitude to ensure our guests have a memorable experience and expectations are not just met but exceeded. Working autonomously will be required at times and a mature-minded person is a must.
Duties include:
Directing phone calls to the relevant person or department, accommodation reservations, check in and check out, cash handling, troubleshooting, concierge, responding to emails/enquiries in a timely manner, conflict resolution.
