Job Description

• Casual Owner Operator Hot Shot Driver  
• Must have reliable Ute, truck or van in excellent working order
• Ideal for a semi retired or someone who wants casual work
• Preference will be given to someone with an ABN
• Must have experience driving long distances and have experience driving at night 
• Be able to collect a small carton or a pallet and take directly to our clients mostly in western NSW.  These are urgent deliveries that need to be collected and delivered in the most time effective way.  
• A lot of these deliveries are to mine sites so PPE gear is standard attire with hard hat, safety glasses and hi vis clothing may be needed

What you'll bring to this role

To be successful in this role, you could have the following experience: 

• Ability to drive long distances safely with night experience
• Sound load restraint knowledge.
• Great verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with our customers and co-workers.
• Ability to use our delivery app on your mobile phone
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintain clear priority on task allocation and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate effectively in and across teams as well as independently without direct supervision. A strong focus on safety being at the forefront of everything you do. Demonstrated commitment to safety and incident free operations.

How we pay you

• You are paid a set km rate that includes the driver and vehicle based on the total km travelled per job
• Payment is the following Friday after we receive your account
