This highly regarded government department is looking for multiple high performing APS4/5 Executive Assistants to come in on an initial 12 month non-ongoing or a permanent S26 transfer (if applicable). This would be a great opportunity for someone within the APS to have a change of pace or someone from the private sector with transferable skills to get their foot into the government sector.
The role
As the Executive Assistant, you will:
- Manage, coordinate and prioritise the workflow of the office
- Manage diary, email and telephone enquiries
- Provide high level administrative and coordination support, including managing and organising meetings, briefings and events
- Provide secretariat support including agendas and meeting minutes
- Handle sensitive information, maintain confidentiality and model ethical behaviour
- Work collaboratively with other Executive Assistants/Executive Officers and the broader business area
- Undertake procurement, accounts processing, support project and research work
- Manage records and use systems including Microsoft Office, PDMS, Tech1 and other tools
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven attention to detail, organisation and resilience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline clearance
- Experience within APS as an Executive Assistant or a similar role with transferable skills
