The Opportunity
This role is responsible for homes predominantly within the Moreton Bay Region.
This opportunity would be suitable for someone who has previous House Manager or Case Management experience.
As a leader in Thrive House, the House Manager position is a hybrid between people management of our support staff and will provide comprehensive assessment and individualised case management to the participants and young people in our care. You will be responsible for a team of support workers, overseeing the day-to-day operations and running of the home and work to enhance the quality of client experience and to promote continuity of care by working to ensure case management processes are inclusive of the strengths and capacity of individual clients.
You will apply your leadership qualities and focus on continuous improvement to drive quality service and provide secure foundations for our young people and staff within the home.
Note: Mandatory attendance at weekly Friday team meetings at our Mooloolaba office is required for this role.

Team Management Experience
- Someone who models, inspires, and supports staff with a clear focus on building and maintaining a positive team culture and promoting professional development.
- Someone with management experience and leading a team of approximately 30 staff.
- Someone who THRIVES on a fast-paced role with a rewarding outcome.
- Someone who fosters and promotes, trauma informed supports, evidence-based practices, reflective practice and professional dialogue
- You will use your coaching, mentoring and development strategies to lead a high performing team.
- Previous experience delivering support for individuals with complex support needs, or the ability to quickly acquire the knowledge and skills to perform these duties and support the team.
- Ability to identify potential risks and hazards in the working environment and ability to implement strategies to mitigate risk.
- You will be committed to training and continuous development with a desire to Thrive!
Case Management Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Social Work or related field (social sciences, health, psychology, social work, community services).
- Someone who can establish relationships with individuals that access the service that encourages self-determination and participation.
- Someone who is committed to providing high quality service and provide support which reflects the Child Safety statement of Standards, Disability Services Standards, legislative requirements, funding objectives, plans and goals.
- Previous experience in case management support to individuals in accordance with case management models and standards of practice.
- Previous experience in completing thorough assessments, inclusive of needs, risks and vulnerabilities.
- Experience in providing ongoing assessment of the individuals' presenting issues, vulnerabilities and needs from initial intake to exit.
- Experience in case planning and reviewing progress in collaboration with the individual and implementing a range of interventions that address the needs or goals of the individual, as well as barriers to achieving those.
- Expertise in writing Positive Behaviour Support Plans and incident reports.

- You hold a current driver’s licence and are eligible to obtain an LCS check, blue card and yellow card.
