House Manager

Our Client
Our client is a renowned NFP organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support and care for individuals with disabilities in their SIL homes. The Role
For an initial two month contact, our client is looking for an experienced House Manager to oversee 2 residential homes in Ryde. Overseeing a team of 12 support workers, you'll manage the daily running of both homes which house 4 residents. You'll also be responsible for the smooth daily operations of the group homes and the appropriate management of residents SIL funding. Main responsibilities include:

• Oversee the daily operations of our Supported Independent Living Home
• Lead and implement effective person-centered practices, including working individually with participants, planning and delivering work per-care plans, providing support to families and carers, and working with local service providers
• Supporting the team in providing high-quality services in line with participant care plans, goals, and outcomes
• Assist the Rostering Coordinator with fortnightly rosters
• Working with staff, participants, families, and other stakeholders to understand and resolve concerns
• Coordinating on-site support and reviewing incidents and complaints

What you need

• Minimum 1 years' experience as a House Manager
• Relevant qualification within Community Services or Disability
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team
• Experience in staff rostering, managing a budget
• Working knowledge of the National Disability Service Standards, NDIS and NDIS plans
• Knowledge of the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission
• Current NSW Full Driver's License
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain Satisfactory completion of criminal record check
