The Role
For an initial two month contact, our client is looking for an experienced House Manager to oversee 2 residential homes in Ryde. Overseeing a team of 12 support workers, you'll manage the daily running of both homes which house 4 residents. You'll also be responsible for the smooth daily operations of the group homes and the appropriate management of residents SIL funding. Main responsibilities include:
- Oversee the daily operations of our Supported Independent Living Home
- Lead and implement effective person-centered practices, including working individually with participants, planning and delivering work per-care plans, providing support to families and carers, and working with local service providers
- Supporting the team in providing high-quality services in line with participant care plans, goals, and outcomes
- Assist the Rostering Coordinator with fortnightly rosters
- Working with staff, participants, families, and other stakeholders to understand and resolve concerns
- Coordinating on-site support and reviewing incidents and complaints
What you need
- Minimum 1 years' experience as a House Manager
- Relevant qualification within Community Services or Disability
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team
- Experience in staff rostering, managing a budget
- Working knowledge of the National Disability Service Standards, NDIS and NDIS plans
- Knowledge of the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission
- Current NSW Full Driver's License
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain Satisfactory completion of criminal record check
