Housekeeper

We are looking to hire a family housekeeper who is available to work 20-25 hours per week for 4-5 hours per day and is available from Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and mopping all rooms.
• Washing dishes, and cleaning kitchen cupboards and appliances.
• Clean and sanitising showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops, and sinks.
• Dusting furniture and fixtures.
• Cleaning all surfaces.
• Collecting and disposing of rubbish.
• Cleaning windows and mirrors.
• Sorting, washing, drying and ironing clothes.
• Washing and changing bed linen.
• Stocking and maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies.
• Maintain organisation and aesthetic of rooms and household items.
• Report damage or areas that need special attention to the homeowner.

Skills required:

• Proven experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning equipment, supplies, and cleaning techniques.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
• Adaptability.
• Attention to detail.
