About the Role: Snowy Monaro Regional Council is seeking a reliable, accountable and adaptable housekeeper to join the team at Yallambee Lodge providing excellent care to our residents. The successful candidate for this role will work as part of a team to deliver housekeeping services to a high standard safely and with respect to the home environment of each resident; supporting their independence, physical, psychosocial, social and spiritual wellbeing.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience working in cleaning, housekeeping or other related role
- Demonstrated ability to interact with older people or people with disability in a positive, friendly and professional manner
- Commitment to work a variety of shifts as rostered including one weekend per fortnight
- Proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieve outcomes that contribute to the achievement of the organisation’s strategic goals
- Current Covid-19 and flu vaccination status
- Current Class C Drivers Licence and be willing to drive a minibus or other vehicle between sites as required
