SalaryWe are looking for 2 responsible, independent and switched on people to join our team to work at The Cove Jervis Bay for a period of 6 months minimum with potential for extension for the right people. We require a hard working duo to join the team in the areas below. We are currently in the early stages of developing a Front of House team as we launch into full catering Food & Beverage for Wedding Events.
Requirements/About you:
- You must have your own vehicle
- Able to work split shifts for early morning breakfast grazings for guests and late nights managing the hands on tasks involved in Weddings and Events where required
- Must be physically able
- Previous experience in food and beverage operations is essential
- High level of personal presentation and grooming
- Thrives in fast pace environment
- Driven by customer interaction and pride yourself on high level of service
- Assisting in the set up and pack down of the Wedding styling/furniture as well as working alongside onsite vendors throughout the events to ensure each event runs seamlessly
F&B Attendent:
- We are seeking passionate, friendly, and fun Food and Beverage staff with table service experience gained within a restaurant or Event environment. Your positive and enthusiastic attitude, along with your ability to work in a fast-paced environment will see you thrive in this position.
- You will be working in the FOH team for Weddings including waitressing and bar service.
- Assisting in event set up and setting up furniture
- You must have a valid RSA
- Execute all work to the highest standard of presentation
- Have a creative eye for styling food
- Stocktake, rotation and inventory management
- Enjoy and have a passion for food preparation and styling skills.
- Delivery high quality customer service in all areas of delivery.
Housekeeping Assistance:
- Assisting with Housekeeping and cleaning of onsite self-contained accomodation and general public areas located at The Cove Jervis Bay
- Housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential however a hard working can do attitude is a must
- Cabin Maintenance and upkeep
- Grounds assistance if required
The pair of you will work both between the F&B attendance and Housekeeping positions.
The Package:
- 30 - 40 hours a week
- Paid under hospitality award
- The role comes with accommodation at a reduced rental fee located on-site at The Cove Jervis Bay
