AddressCrowne Plaza Sydney Burwood is seeking an experienced, dynamic and energetic Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the team to uphold our hotel's high standards!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-ordinate/roster all staff requirements on a daily basis ensuring effective and sufficient staffing is provided
- Complete daily room allocation, room inspections, daily briefings and provide effective communication to all team members
- Manage, encourage and develop all employees to ensure they consistently achieve the highest room standards
- Supervise the Housekeeping team and ensure the design and implementation of effective systems and operational procedures including daily checklists are actioned
- To ensure that quality procedures are followed and quality standards are maintained
- Inspecting all assigned areas to ensure hotel standards and cleanliness quality standards are met and maintained
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with Front Office and all other areas of the hotel
- Ensure efficient use of linen and conduct regular stocktake
- Proactively report any hazards, faulty or damaged equipment, guest incidents or complaints to the Front Office Team
- Lead and collaborate with the team to maximise guest satisfaction, comfort and cleanliness, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
- Assist, where required, in deep/spring cleaning
- Assist with public areas cleaning when require
Skills and experience
- Working Rights in Australia
- Opera PMS experience is essential
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A super positive energy and attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask and co-ordinate
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Able to manage competing priorities
- Genuine commitment to guest service
- Strong eye for detail, an ability to implement and follow procedures and set the standard for cleanliness.

- The successful candidate must have the flexibility to work varied shifts including availability to work at least on weekend day and some public holiday
