A unique opportunity exists for a Housekeeping Manager at the Kimberley Sands Resort, which is nestled amongst the beachside dunes just minutes from the turquoise waters and white sands of famous Cable Beach. The resort in one of WA’s most iconic tourist towns is surrounded by the tranquillity of tropical gardens and captures the essence of Broome with its stunning design and luxury facilities.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the professional and cost-effective running of the Housekeeping department, achieving high standards of cleanliness for guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas within the Resort.

• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping department.
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures and standards.
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling and performance management.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Address guest requirements and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor and maintain budget and cost control measures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in a housekeeping management role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.

Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full rights to work and reside in Australia.
