About Housekeeping
Working amongst a team of 60, you will support the Housekeeping Manager in the day to day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose.

- Turndown Attendants, Part-Time
- House Attendants, Full-Time
The Role: Room and Turndown Attendant
As the Room or Turndaown Attendant in Housekeeping, you will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to guest whilst conducting cleaning duties in the assigned place of work, transforming rooms into a home away from home for our guests.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Servicing all allocated guest rooms in accordance with instructed training and brand standards
- Cleaning of guest rooms adhering to the standards required by the department and hotel
- Use correct cleaning techniques to clean following OHS regulations
- Work closely with Front Office in order to release rooms at the allocated times
- The flexibility to work on rotating roster from 08.00am to 4.00pm and 5.30pm to 9.30pm for Turndown, including weekends and public holidays
The Role: House Attendant
As the House Attendant in Housekeeping, you will be responsible for ensuring all guest corridors and floor pantries are consistently maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, whilst running deliveries and errands as requested by guests and the Housekeeping Management team.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Respond to all guest requests for items to be delivered to our rooms
- Collect and stock all linens in order to assist your Housekeeping team
- Completing the daily task worksheets accurately and legibly, forwarding the completed sheets to Housekeeping Management and reporting any incomplete tasks
- Occasionally moving of heavy furniture, bulky items, changing of sheets, bedspreads, fixing curtains, adding extra bedding and cots within the Housekeeping or guest areas
- The flexibility to work on rotating roster (from 07.00am to 11.00pm), including weekends and public holidays
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Housekeeping within a hotel environment (four or five star hotel experience is preferred) or similar fast-paced, cleaning services environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- The ability to act consistently with clear ethics and values in accordance with confidentially
- Superior customer service skills along with the capability of working both autonomously and as part of a team
- The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
