A bit about the role….
Your day to day
- Supervise, train and motivate housekeeping and public areas staff, to maintain the cleanliness, and presentation standards of our guest rooms and common areas.
- Work with Executive Housekeeper to ensure the departmental performance of staff is compliant, safe and efficient.
- Perform room allocations, inspections and deep cleans as required.
- Monitor and manage the inventory and proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct shift briefings to ensure hotel activities & operational requirements are clear.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to achieve positive guest outcomes.
A bit about you…
We're looking for an energetic individual with excellent communication skills who works well within a team. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and a can-do attitude.
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemical handling.
- Ability to work efficiently and lead a team, managing time effectively to meet cleaning deadlines.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other staff members.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays based on the Hotel's operational needs.
