ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused, enthusiastic team player with exceptional housekeeping skills to be the next Housekeeping Supervisor.  We require candidates who are seeking permanent FULL-TIME work in Hospitality and are invested in their own development. If you are passionate and customer service focused, we want to hear from you!

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Overall presentation of the property (guest rooms and public areas) 
• Leading an effective and efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department.
• Training, developing, and motivating your team
• Adhering to the brand standards 
• Scheduling of tasks, rostering, payroll, room inspections, managing lost property, and investigating housekeeping related complaints

About you

The ideal candidate will report directly to the Housekeeping Manager, and will possess:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping department
• Sound understanding of Rostering, Productivity and Costing
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Acting Supervisor 
• Availability to work a rotating roster over weekdays, Weekends as well as Public Holidays as per business needs
• A positive attitude amongst the team
• Dynamic, and professional personality
• The ability to retain and build a strong team through motivation and development
• Strong understanding of WHS compliance
• You must have working rights in Australia

Desirable

• Certificate III/IV in Hospitality OR any other equivalent qualifications/ Housekeeping Management
