Kimberley Hotel is seeking enthusiastic and efficient Housekeeping Supervisor (full-time position available, 38hrs/week).
Our venue consists of an 80 room hotel with a la carte restaurant, 3 bars (sports, cocktail & saloon) and bistro dining alongside a 100 Single person quarter camp and associated catering arrangement with a local resource company. Most of the up to 50 staff also live on-site and this is the only pub in the town of over 1,500 residents plus a seasonal tourist trade. Make no mistake, this is a very busy hotel and to live, work, experience and explore the Kimberley region.
Key responsibilities & requirements:
Maintain Kimberley Accommodation cleanliness standards for both rooms and public areas and inspect them to ensure that standards are met;
Train staff in all aspects of housekeeping;
Administer guest satisfactions inspection procedures and reports;
Maintain key control and lost-and-found, and ensure staff are trained to follow correct procedures for both;
Carry out planned work schedules and room assignments with minimum disruption to guests;
Empower hotel staff to deliver great guest service by encouraging responsiveness to guest needs;
Meets or exceeds hotel guest satisfaction measures;
Maintain guest satisfaction as the driving philosophy of the hotel;
Personally demonstrate a commitment to guest service by responding promptly to guest needs with an interest and sincerity;
Ensure hotel staff, including all new staff are aware of all components of guest service guarantee and are trained to meet service standards;
